This notice is a reminder for our FINAL FANTASY XI players to never lose or disclose your PlayOnline ID or password to anyone. Please make use of the "Guest Login" function when you attempt to log into the game from either your friend's PC or an Internet Cafe.
Please be aware that spyware may be present in various websites or programs that you download. If your computer is infected by one of these programs, your PlayOnline ID and password may be transmitted to unauthorized third parties. In order to secure your system, we suggest that users not access or download software from sites you are unfamiliar with, or open any e-mail or attached files from those websites or containing that software.
It is recommended that you change your PlayOnline password on a regular basis. This can be done through the "Service & Support" screen accessed from the PlayOnline Menu. Choose "Membership", select "PlayOnline ID", then select "Change Password".
